I found two travel tikets for a MR rodney and MRS laura bell for dublin to barcelona on may 27th at 12:12 smoking seats, the smoking bit its confusing, im guessing as the book was published in 2003 its from after then, so yea :) its not old but still cool, im fanasizing they are a couple madly inlove going on their honey moon :) seathts 11F and E flight number IB4195 boarding at gate b24 terminal B class Y :) its such a nice find AND MY FIRST ONE OF THIS TYPE! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay for me. will scan the tickets but here a photo for now.
I picked up a used copy of Saturation by Urge Overkill at a record store in Harvard Square, and when I took it home it turned out an old ticket stub from one of their shows was still in the case:

I always like finding things in used books or cd's no matter what they are, and I just thought it was kind of neat that whoever previously owned this album evidently also saw them live when I was 12. It didn't travel far though, The Paradise is fairly close to where I bought the CD. And man, I very rarely see concerts that cost $7 to get into these days.

I found a folded-up pair of what appears to be handmade religious tracts, in the street in front of my house. They were folded up very small and lying on the ground, as though they'd been thrown away. It starts as a sort of self-explanatory story of a person's life, and then halfway through turns into a rant against some guy I've never heard of.
So of course, I had to share them with you all. Big photos & transcription under the cut. Very big photos; dialup, go grab a snack.
( I really don't know what this is about. )

I saw this last winter actually.

I'm pretty sure that guy enjoys his job. XD

Okay, I just deleted the dead mouse post.
rhodamine is quite correct that this post did *not* violate any community rules. It was deleted without prejudice because the complaints were giving me a headache. I actually think that it was a pretty great image, and completely on topic. I deleted it because it seemed rude to me to leave it uncut when so many people asked (some more politely to others) to cut it. I also updated the community info to reiterate the right of the mod to enforce common courtesy.
I have several points:
This is now the end of the annual what's-on-topic in

I have several points:
- I received several notes on this point. Thanks to the people who alerted me. A big RTFM to the multiple members who hung about in the common thread and moaned that there was *NO* active mod, and they had *NO* idea how to contact us. Contact information is really clearly displayed on the information page. I live in Europe, so may not be in the same time zone as you. So hold yr horses for an answer, okay?
- Which brings me to my next point: before you air an opinion about what's on-topic or not, please read the community information. I read some surprising remarks today about how "arty" photos were not on topic. (They are what the community is set up for.) I heard that graffiti wasn't allowed. (It's one of the community's explicit interests.) Take a look at the original photo archive that inspired it all. Do those things before you decide to police the comm yrself. I do monitor the group. I do delete what's off topic. We have a big topic. That's life.
- The issue of posting frequency for one poster has been raised. My question to you is: where are your posts? There are more than 8000 members of this community, and there have always been periods where one poster or another is posting more frequently. It becomes obvious when you do nothing to contribute. Post! Post! Post! And pretty soon you won't notice if one person posts quite a bit. (Although we should all occasionally consider if our volume is appropriate.)
